NIGHT AND DAY IT'S CINDERELLY

Just call me Cinderella; at work and at home. Funny how I don't mind it at work. Maybe that's cuz I get paid for what I do. But home is a totally different story. I don't want to clean when I get home. Home is for relaxing! Ok, ok, that's wishful thinking. I know that, really I do. Some things have got to be done at home, but please let me take my time with it. I don't like to be pushed into something, especially when it's an unpleasant job. Like today for instance. I had to clean out my pool so that it could be stored away for the winter. And wasn't that just the funnest job ever! It was interesting alright. . And it took forever. Ended up soaking wet as usual. I can never seem to keep the mess away from my body. I don't know why that is. I think it all started about 2 or 3 summers ago. When I first sprayed myself with the hose that was attached to the sink. And then turned around and sprayed my sister! Or maybe it started when I was cleaning a shower a couple years ago and ended up falling in. Or maybe it all started 10 years ago when I went to walk down the kiddie pool slide and fell right into the pool. It doesn't really matter, the result is all the same. I always end up wet. And wet jeans have just got to be one of the most gosh darn uncomfortable things in the world!
Other than wet socks that is. Or really just wet clothes in general. Now wet wool is disgusting. I had a sweater and ick, ick, ick! I think I got that wet from playing in the snow one time. Probably when making one of the many wicked snow forts I used to make with my little sister. But I'm not sure. I'm not sure about much these days. But I'm trying to have fun with it. But I need to go finish eating the most delectable chocolate sauce and remember: algae + moss + standing water = BIG MESS!
