GONNA SEE THE MOUNTAINS!

So in a few hours I'm off to Banff! Love it there. So absolutely gorgeous! And I haven't seen the mountains in about 7 months. Not since Crystal's wedding. And to me that's just about long enough. I could probably stand it for about a year and then I'd start going a little crazy. I may be a prairie girl at heart, but going to BC is something that the family's done nearly early year that I can remember. And trust me, skipping a year is definitely not fun. The funny part is, I love going out there but I also love to come home. I love my wide open spaces with the endless sky and amazing sunrises and sunsets. I love being able to see in every direction all at once. But today, I'm getting away from it. I'm going to Banff! With Corrie and Steve, just for the weekend. It's going to be one nuts trip. Leaving tonight so that we get there for breakfast (ah yes, the Breakfast in Banff run that dad claims he started!) and then we're going to spend the morning there. Then we're going to Jasper and up to Edmonton and spending Saturday night at Corrie's parents' house and then on Sunday we're coming home. Cuz ofcourse I need to be back here for work at 5:30 am! So the whole weekend will pretty much be spent in the car but I'm going to love it. And now, to go pack!
